How did Backmagie by SJ come about?
It's hard to believe, but behind these beautiful "works of art" of cookies, muffins, cakes, ... there is a beginner who stands out with her extraordinary talent, great attention to detail and distinctive taste.
The first baking attempts were a disaster. Her husband almost lost his teeth at the beginning. However, for the sake of him and her family, SJ didn't want to give up. She had the will to learn to bake.
And over time, the love and passion for baking developed from the will.
Every free minute is spent searching, trying out and refining recipes. It is baked, decorated and tasted...
Family, friends and colleagues are enthusiastic about her "baking madness". When SJ comes she always brings great treats.
And she also shares her big heart with the poorest in society. Traditionally, every year at Christmas, the many cookies are packed in small bags and given away to a local non-profit organization.
